Emitt Tourism Exhibition
Emitt Tourism Exhibition

21. East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition

East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition - Emitt was first held in 1997 at the Tuyap Exhibition Center in Istanbul’s Tepebaşı with the title of Voyager International Tourism and Holiday Fair. The fair was mainly focused on domestic tourism in the first two years but it gradually turned into an exhibition where international destinations are promoted as well, due to popular demand from neighboring regions and the international tourism community. Changing its title in 1999 to the East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition, EMITT has been organized by Ekin Fuarcılık and EUF - E International Fair, both part of ITE Turkey, since 2009.

As one of the top five tourism exhibitions in the world for the last 16 years, the EMITT Tourism Exhibition contributes to the growth of the industry in the region with an increasing number of exhibitors and visitors each year. With 6 major exhibitions in 5 countries, the ITE Group has acquired extensive expertise in the area of “Tourism and Travel”. ITE Turkey, on the other hand, has 21 years of experience and expertise in the EMITT exhibition. Combining the strong global network offered by ITE Group Plc. and the experience and portfolio of ITE Turkey, EMITT will continue to create a stronger synergy for the tourism industry.
